Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge?
Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?

“The mere accumulation of facts, even an extremely extensive collection, ... does not constitute scientific method; it provides neither a direction for further discoveries nor does it even deserve the name of science in the higher sense of that word. The cathedral of science requires not only material, but a design, harmony ... a design ... for the harmonic composition of parts and to indicate the pathway, by which the most fruitful new material might be generated.”

| Reverse Informatics |
WHAT?
Knowing How to See
Data, Information and Knowledge (D-I-K) are regarded as the basic building blocks of Information Science. If we consider the sequential order D-I-K as Forward Informatics, the process of getting back the “source Data” from the primary literature can be called as Reverse Informatics. That is, K-I-D.
Reverse Informatics helps you to gain true and complete knowledge from the “biased” knowledge by retrieving back the “naked” facts, that is Data.
After all, as someone said, what a Copernicus or Darwin really achieved was not a discovery of a new theory, but a fertile new point of view. |

SO WHAT?
Connecting the Unconnected
May be you want to know the list of in force patents on kinase inhibitors, or need to know the list of compounds that are reported to be interacting with GPCRs, or interested in the bioactivity, synthetic methodology, pharmacology and toxicology/metabolism collections generally derived from the primary literature, journals and patents. We make it easier for researchers to find the information in the context of their work |
